My last detergent left a weird film on dark clothes, but this stuff rinses completely clean even in cold water. Hand-washed a silk blouse and it came out soft with that fresh linen smell that actually lingers. The biodegradable formula is a nice bonus too.
Hand wash only? I put a delicate sweater through the sink with a squirt of this and it came out smelling like sun-dried sheets. Even the cold water cycle in my machine left zero residue on my dark clothes.
